The Indian Institute of Technology, Hauz Khas, Delhi, is pursuing environmental clearance for its campus expansion and modification. The plan involves demolishing and redeveloping structures, including 4 academic blocks (3,488.024 m²) and 3 Type C residential quarter blocks. New additions include Academic Block-103 (2B+G+6), five Type VI faculty housing blocks (S+6), and two Type C residential quarter blocks (S+6). An electric substation is also set for redevelopment. The proposal adheres to C&D Rules, 2016, with a focus on sustainable redevelopment practices.
