Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TGGENCO) is developing an integrated township adjacent to the Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS) on a 55-acre site. The project, valued at ?970 crore (?971.98 crore excluding GST), has been awarded to Power Mech Projects Limited under an EPC contract. The scope includes construction of independent and multi-storey residential quarters, a hospital, school, clubhouse, commercial complexes, an indoor stadium, and a sports complex. Infrastructure works cover site levelling, internal roads, drainage systems, sewage treatment, potable water tanks, rainwater harvesting, overhead reservoirs, streetlights, a sub-station, and a bridge over the Tungapadu Vagu stream.
