East Central Railway has contracted Ircon International Limited for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a new broad-gauge rail bridge over the River Ganga, connecting Bikramshila and Katareah stations. The project involves building a double-line track with steel girder superstructures, replacing the existing single-line track for improved rail connectivity.
