Katraj-Kondhwa bypass road to complete by June 2026

The Pune Municipal Corporation has announced that the Katraj-Kondhwa bypass road will be completed by June 2026. The project, long delayed due to administrative and land acquisition issues, has received Rs. 270 crore for land acquisition, of which Rs. 220 crore has been reallocated to accelerate work. The original 84-metre-wide plan has been scaled to 50 metres for faster execution. Construction includes roadworks, drainage lines, and a grade separator to ease traffic congestion and reduce flooding.
