Kesco plans to install 6.5 lakh smart meters across Kanpur to enhance billing accuracy and modernize its infrastructure. With 1.5 lakh meters already installed, the project aims to complete the rollout within two years. The initiative, supported by a ?582 crore budget, is set to improve customer service and streamline operations.
