KMRL begins feasibility study for Alappuzha water metro project

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) has initiated a feasibility study for a water transport network in Alappuzha, connecting tourist locations such as Kumarakom, Muhamma, and Pathiramanal. The electric vessel-based system will offer sustainable connectivity and boost tourism. Similar studies are planned for Kollam and Aluva–Nedumbassery Airport routes.
