Knowledge Marine to deploy electric tug at VO Chidambaranar Port

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has received a Letter of Intent from V. O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) for hiring one 60-ton bollard pull capacity electric tug. The deployment is under the Green Tug Transition Program (GTTP) and involves a battery-operated electric green tug. The scope includes manning, operations, maintenance, and full technical management of the tug to support sustainable port operations and reduce emissions at VOCPA.
