Lucknow Metro Phase 1B East-West Corridor cleared by PIB
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL)
Lucknow Metro’s Phase 1B East-West Corridor, spanning 11.165 km from Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, received clearance from the Public Investment Board. The Rs 5,801 crore project includes 4.286 km elevated and 6.879 km underground tracks with 12 stations. Charbagh will serve as a major interchange with the existing North-South Corridor. The completion is expected in five years.
