Maharashtra Cabinet approves Rs.6500 crore New Nagpur project

The Maharashtra Cabinet approves the New Nagpur project to transform Hingna Taluka into a hi-tech business hub. Spread over 692 hectares, the project will include an International Business and Finance Centre, underground utility tunnels, smart utilities, and green planning. Rs.3000 crore is earmarked for land acquisition and Rs.3500 crore for Phase I. The development is expected to generate over five lakh jobs under the supervision of NMRDA and NBCC (India).
