Maharashtra clears Rs.5,704 crore Pune Metro Phase-2 spurs

The Maharashtra Cabinet Infrastructure Committee has approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Pune Metro Phase-2’s two new spur lines, estimated at Rs. 5,704 crore. The 16.92 km expansion includes the 11.35 km Hadapsar–Loni Kalbhor corridor with 10 stations and the 5.57 km Hadapsar Bus Depot–Saswad Road corridor with 4 stations. Maha-Metro will execute the project with PMRDA and PMC support under a 20:20:60 funding model. The DPR awaits final Union Government approval.
