Marappalam Railway Underpass Project Proposed in Madukkarai

Tamil Nadu Highways Department

The Tamil Nadu Highways Department has proposed a project to construct the Marappalam railway underpass on the Coimbatore-Palakkad road at Madukkarai. The project includes relaying 82 metres of railway track, widening the road from two to four lanes, and building large retaining walls for the rectangular underpass. Around 4,700 sq. mtrs. of land will be acquired in this regard.
