Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL)

MMRCL has completed track laying for Phase 2 of the Metro 3 Aqua Line, ahead of the May 2025 deadline. The 33.5-km underground corridor will ease Mumbai’s traffic congestion. Phase 2, from Bandra Kurla Complex to Cuffe Parade, is on track for full operation by May 2025. The first phase, connecting Aarey Colony to BKC, began operations on October 7, 2024. While minor delays remain in some stations, most work is nearly finished, with the final launch potentially delayed due to testing and safety checks.
