Mumbai-Pune Expressway Cable Bridge Delayed, Scheduled for March 2025 Completion

MSRDC is overseeing the implementation of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Cable Bridge. The project is crucial for reducing travel time between Mumbai and Pune, will be ready by March 2025. Forming part of the Rs 6,695 crore missing link project, the bridge aims to bypass the crowded Lonavala ghat section, cutting the distance by 6 km and travel time by nearly 30 minutes. While other project components, including two tunnels and another bridge, are nearing 90% completion, the cable bridge remains under construction.
