Mumbai to launch 7.5 km sea-facing promenade on Coastal Road

Mumbai will inaugurate a 7.5-km-long sea-facing promenade along the Coastal Road on 15 June 2025, stretching from Priyadarshini Park, Breach Candy, to the Worli end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The 20-metre-wide promenade features 20 underpasses for safe crossing, 70% green landscaping, and nine access points. Developed over 17 hectares by Tata Sons and BMC, it is part of a larger 70-hectare Coastal Road open space plan.
