NHAI Revises Cost of Telangana Ring Road Project to Rs 15,627 Crore

The National Highways Authority of India has revised the cost of the northern segment of Telanganas Regional Ring Road from Rs 7,104 crore to Rs 15,627 crore after upgrading the design to a six-lane highway. Covering 161 km from Girmapur in Sangareddy to Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, the project will now be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Model. Work will be tendered across five packages, and design speeds of up to 120 km/h have been planned. Land compensation for farmers is currently in progress.
