NHAI Starts Process for Six-Lane Capital Region Ring Road in Rameswar
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
NHAI has begun the process for constructing the six-lane Capital Region Ring Road (CRRR), connecting Rameswar in Khurda to Bilipada in Cuttack. Bids for the first phase of the 40 km road project, with an investment of ?1,715 crore, was recently invited. The CRRR, part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, will span 111 km and is expected to cost ?6,100 crore, easing traffic on NH-16 through key cities.
