NREL to Develop 630 MW Solar Project in Chhatarpur

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPCREL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., is developing a 630 MW solar project in Barethi, Chhatarpur, under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy’s Solar Parks scheme. The land has been transferred to NREL, and tenders for the EPC and Pooling Substation packages have been issued. The project is set to be completed by March 2026, with tender awards expected by September 2024.
