Numaligarh Refinery has commissioned the Crude Oil Integration Facility after receiving approval from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation. The commissioning enabled Oil In activity at the CDU-VDU unit, marking a key step under the Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project. The six MTPA expansion will raise the refinerys total capacity to nine MTPA at its Golaghat facility in Assam.
