Oilmax Energy to Develop Amguri Oil & Gas Field

Oilmax Energy has outlined plans for a greenfield development project in the Amguri Oil & Gas Field, located in Assam’s Sivasagar and Jorhat districts. The project will involve drilling 13 development wells, alongside ongoing production and exploration activities, and appraising 18 existing wells. Four production units are also set to be established within the field. Oilmax has secured the Amguri Field in partnership with Assam Company India Ltd (ACIL) and the Government of India. The project is projected to achieve a production capacity of 2,600 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 900,000 Standard Cubic Metres per day (SCMD) of gas.
