ONGC explores deepwater bids under OALP-X

ONGC is in advanced talks with foreign partners for joint bids in OALP Round X, focusing on deepwater and ultra-deepwater exploration. With each deepwater well costing approximately Rs. 1,000 crore, partnerships aim to mitigate financial and technical risks. The strategy seeks to sustain upstream exploration amid high capital intensity and global shifts in oil industry investment priorities.
