Pachpadra Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Nearing Commissioning in Rajasthan

The Pachpadra refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Balotra, Rajasthan, is approaching commissioning stage. The refinery, a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and the Government of Rajasthan, is designed as a BS VI compliant facility integrated with a petrochemical plant. The complex will process around 9 MMTPA of crude oil and produce approximately 2.4 MMTPA of petrochemicals. It follows a zero liquid effluent discharge model, ensuring no liquid waste is released during operations. Commercial operations are expected to commence from July 2026.
