Palghar Reviews Land Acquisition for Rail Projects

The Palghar district administration has reviewed the status of land acquisition for major railway infrastructure projects, including the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor. According to official data, land acquisition for the bullet train project is complete, with compensation disbursed to 92 percent of beneficiaries across 71 villages. The Virar–Dahanu railway quadrupling project has minor acquisition pending, while land acquisition for the Borivali–Virar project has been completed. In total, five projects span 169 villages, with ?2,859.14 crore disbursed and ?328.52 crore pending.
