Panari Energy Proposes 1800 MW Pumped Storage Project in Panna & Satna Districts

Panari Energy is undertaking development of a 1800 MW (16,200 MWh) Pumped Storage Project near Panna Village, Panna Tehsil, Panna District and Salikpur Village, Majhgaon Tehsil, Satna District, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves a one-time water requirement of 1.62 TMC from Baghain Nadi, of which 1.14 TMC will be utilised for power generation through re-circulation with 9-hour storage capacity. The total land requirement is estimated at 1,013.62 hectares, comprising forest land, for project components, infrastructure and muck disposal.
