Panari Energy proposes to develop Pumped Storage Project (PSP) near Panna Village, Panna (T) , Panna District and Salikpur (V), Majhgaon (T) Satna (D) , Madhya Pradesh. The total capacity of proposed PSP is 1800 MW (16200 MWH) and it is proposed that One-time requirement of 1.62 TMC of water will be lifted from existing nearby Nala (Baghain Nadi), out of which 1.14 TMC of water will be used for power generation by re-circulation with 9 hours storage capacity.
