Patel Engineering Revives Gongri Hydropower Project

Patel Engineering has signed an MoU with the Arunachal Pradesh government to restore and develop the 144 MW Gongri hydropower project near Dirang. Valued at ?1,700 crore, the project will be executed on a build-own-operate-transfer basis for 40 years and is targeted for completion within four years. The scope includes DPR preparation, dam construction, equipment installation, and grid connectivity under the state’s hydropower restoration policy.
