PCMC to Upgrade Sewage Plants, Curtail Water Pollution

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) responds to Maharashtra Pollution Control Board’s directives, initiating upgrades to sewage and effluent treatment plants. Following interim directions, PCMC must furnish a comprehensive action report within 15 days, detailing measures to halt untreated water discharge into Indrayani and Pawana rivers. Concurrently, the civic body progresses with augmentation efforts across all city sewage and effluent treatment facilities.
