PMC Allocates ?2 Crore for Lake Enhancement Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has approved a Rs.2 crore plan to enhance Katraj, Pashan, Peshwa, and Model Colony lakes under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The project includes tree plantations, concrete pathways, garbage disposal, and jogging tracks. PMC also aims to curb pollution and improve water quality. The Standing Committee recently cleared the tenders, ensuring comprehensive development and environmental restoration of these lakes.
