Power Grid to integrate 4.5 GW from Kurnool-IV REZ

Power Grid Corporation of India will establish a new 765/400/220kV pooling substation at Kurnool IV and enhance transformation capacity at the existing C’peta substation in Andhra Pradesh. The project includes 765kV and 400kV D/C transmission lines across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka to facilitate the integration of 4.5 GW renewable energy.
