Prostarm Emerges L1 for 150 MW Battery Storage in Karnataka

Prostarm Info Systems has been declared as L-1 bidder by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, for setting up a 150 MW/300 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System at the 400kV Doni Substation in Gadag district, Karnataka. The project, under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding on a Build-Own-Operate basis, carries a state-supported VGF with a rental of Rs. 2.54 lakh/MW/month, amounting to Rs. 45.72 crore annually, for a contract period of 12 years.
