Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated multiple rail projects including automatic signalling between Samastipur-Bachhwara and the doubling of Darbhanga-Thalwara and Samastipur-Rambhadrapur rail lines. These works, part of the Darbhanga-Samastipur doubling project, are valued at over ?580 crore.
