Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor to Cut Travel Time by Half
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
NHAI is constructing the six-lane Raipur-Visakhapatnam economic corridor, spanning 465 km. Over 70% complete, the project is set to reduce travel time from 14 to 6 hours. The Koraput segment (124 km) is being developed at Rs 4,600 crore, while the Nabarangpur stretch (116 km) has a budget of Rs 3,159 crore, totaling an investment of Rs 16,000 crore.
