Rajasthan approves two new Greenfield Expressways spanning 523 km

The Rajasthan government has cleared construction of two Greenfield Expressways KotputliKishangarh (181 km) and BeawarBharatpur (342 km). Part of a nine-expressway, 2,756 km plan, the projects are targeted for phased completion under Vision 2047, with five expressways to be ready by 2030. The Public Works Department will soon initiate land acquisition under the Rajasthan Land Acquisition Act, 2014, a process expected to take six to eight months before tenders are issued for construction works.
