Ramsarup Pig Iron and Steel Melting Shop Expansion at Kharagpur

Ramsarup Industries proposes to enhance hot metal and pig iron production capacity at Industrial Estate, Kharagpur, District Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, from 5,39,000 TPA (2 x 350 m³ blast furnaces) to 11,92,205 TPA (350 m³ + 410 m³ blast furnaces). The project also includes expansion of the Steel Melting Shop unit to increase MS Billet production from 3,72,000 TPA (70 Ton EAF + 70 Ton LRF + CCM) to 12,54,800 TPA (2 x 70 Ton EAF + 2 x 70 Ton LRF + 2 x matching strand CCM).
