REC forms Munak Power Transmission subsidiary

REC has incorporated a new subsidiary, Munak Power Transmission, to develop a 400 kV substation at Munak in Haryana and associated transmission lines. The project will evacuate 800 MW of power from the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant and is being implemented under the TBCB framework.
