Reliance Industries, Brookfield, and Digital Realty Establish ‘Digital Connexion’ for Data Centers in India

Reliance Industries, Brookfield Infrastructure, and Digital Realty have concluded a transaction to establish a three-way joint venture named ‘Digital Connexion’ for data center services. The companies, equal shareholders with a 33.33 percent stake each, entered into an agreement in July 2023 to invest in their existing special purpose vehicle (SPV) ‘Digital Connexion’ for developing data centers in India. The JV is actively developing data centers in Chennai and Mumbai, with the flagship MAA10 data center in Chennai set to launch in January 2024. Additionally, the JV has acquired 2.15 acres of land in Mumbai for the construction of a planned 40 MW data center.
