Rs 70 Crore Allocated for Rayagada Railway Division Project

The Union Budget has allocated Rs 70 crore for the establishment of the Rayagada railway division under East Coast Railway (ECoR). With the project design in its final stage, construction is set to commence soon. The new division will cover 125.78 acres across six locations near Rayagada railway station along NH-326. The DRM office will occupy 14.30 acres, featuring water bodies, a walking track, and a parking area for 260 four-wheelers, along with a driver’s rest room.
