Bengaluru Airport-Yelahanka Railway Line Doubling Announced

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the doubling of the railway line from Bengaluru Airport to Yelahanka, aiming to reduce road traffic and enhance commuting speed between the city and the airport. On the redevelopment of Cantonment Railway Station, he confirmed that progress is on track, with plans for an additional 18,000 square meters of space. The station will also feature an underground parking facility for 250 cars and 250 two-wheelers.
