RVNL Receives Letter of Acceptance for Electric Traction System Upgradation

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)

RVNL has received a Letter of Acceptance from SER HQ Electrical/South Eastern Railway for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning to upgrade the Electric Traction System from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system. This project aims to upgrade the Kharagpur (Excl.)-Bhadrak (Excl.) section of the Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet a 3000 MT loading target. The completion is targeted in 18 months.
