Sembcorp signs MoUs with Odisha govt to explore green hydrogen and industrial park projects

Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries has signed two non-binding MoUs with the Odisha government to explore opportunities in green hydrogen production and industrial development. Sembcorps wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India Private Limited (SGHIPL), has partnered with the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) to establish a green hydrogen production facility. The facility is expected to produce 720,000 metric tonnes per annum, marking a significant step in advancing sustainable energy in the region.
