The Sevoke-Rangpo railway project has achieved breakthrough of Tunnel No. 8 spanning 4.148 km. The 44.96 km rail project involves extensive tunnelling, bridges, and station infrastructure, with major excavation works nearing completion ahead of the commissioning target of December 2027.
