Shirdi Set to Become Maharashtra’s First Solar City

An agreement between the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), and the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) will transform Shirdi into a Solar city. This initiative will make Shirdi the first town in Maharashtra to supply power to consumers directly from a solar plant.
