Siemens-RVNL Consortium Lands ?394 Crore Bangalore Metro Electrification Project

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has issued a letter of acceptance to the Siemens-RVNL consortium for a ?394 crore project. This initiative encompasses engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 33 KV distribution, 750V DC third rail traction electrification, along with traction substations, auxiliary substations, and SCADA systems for phases 2A and 2B of the Bangalore Metro.
