Silica Sand Mining Project at Ballavolu

The mining plan has been prepared for quarrying silica sand over an area of 1.987 ha at Ballavolu Village, Chillakur Mandal, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh. As per the modified approved mining plan, the average annual production capacity is 44,531.5 TPA for the remaining plan period of 202526 and 202627. The project will adopt open cast semi-mechanized mining without drilling and blasting. Environmental clearance is sought for the Expansion in Production from 8996 TPA to 44531.5 TPA.
