Tamil Nadu to commission Rs. 605 crore water project

A Rs. 605 crore drinking water supply project covering 831 habitations in Radhapuram and Nanguneri segments is set for commissioning soon. Sourced from an infiltration well in the Tamirabharani River at Mela Muneerpallam, water will be treated at Singikulam near Kalakkad. Infrastructure includes 297 electric poles powering pumping stations. The project aims to provide safe drinking water to over one lakh households, ensuring sustainable access and improved quality of life for residents.
