Tangedco successfully commissions the 800 Megawatt North Chennai Super Critical Thermal Power Plant (Stage-3). This cutting-edge thermal plant, established at an estimated cost of approximately Rs 10,158 crore, marks Tamil Nadu’s pioneering use of advanced super critical technology. Situated at Athipattu in Tiruvallur district, it stands as a significant milestone in the state’s power infrastructure.
