Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation (Tantransco)

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation (Tantransco) is set to develop a 765/400 kV substation in Coimbatore, along with a 240 km transmission line from Ariyalur to Tirupur. The project, estimated at ?4,500 crore, aims to enhance the 765 kV network, reducing transmission losses over long distances. The substation will be located in Uthukuli, Tirupur, on a 100-acre site, with 32 acres currently under acquisition.
