Telangana to expand oil palm processing and IT infrastructure

Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao announced plans to establish oil palm processing factories in every district, with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurating a major facility in Siddipet this month. On 11 August, 2025, Rao and Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Anasuya laid the foundation for a new unit at Incherla, Mulugu district, where current 5,000-acre oil palm cultivation is set to double.
