The Tinplate Company of India Ltd (TCIL), a Tata Steel unit, is set to invest Rs 1,787 crore in a 3-lakh-tonnes-per-annum manufacturing facility in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The expansion project, scheduled for commissioning in 2026, solidifies the agreement between TCIL and the Jharkhand government. This strategic investment underscores Tata Steel’s commitment to enhancing manufacturing capabilities and contributing to the industrial growth of the region.
