Union Budget 2024-25 Allocates Rs 8,743 Crore for Railways projects in Gujarat

The Union Budget for 2024-25 has earmarked Rs 8,743 crore for railway projects in Gujarat, contributing to 42 ongoing projects spanning 2,948 km with a total investment of Rs 30,826 crore. Additionally, 87 stations in Gujarat are being developed or have been approved for development as Amrit stations. Notable stations undergoing upgrades include Sabarmati (meter gauge and broad gauge), Ahmedabad, Maninagar, Anand, Asarva, Bhavnagar, Chandlodia, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Rajkot, Surat, and Vadodara.
