UPPWD Proposes North–South Road Corridor

Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department has proposed a 2,340-km North–South road corridor to improve connectivity across 20 districts. The proposal includes six corridors, with approved stretches linking Ikauna–Prayagraj, Kushinagar–Zamania, Pipri–Prayagraj, Lakhimpur–Banda, Bareilly–Lalitpur, and Mustafabad–Harpalpur. The corridors will integrate with existing and proposed expressways, including Ganga, Poorvanchal, Bundelkhand, and Shamli–Gorakhpur corridors.
